Solutions Consultant | Primary Market Expert-Municipal Bond Knowledge | US – Remote (with potential travel)
Solve is a New York-based financial technology firm and a leading provider of real-time observable market data and data aggregation across multiple Fixed Income asset classes including all Structured Products (ABS, MBS, CLOs, etc.), Syndicated Bank Loans, Corporate Bonds (IG, HY, EM, etc.), CDS, and Municipals.
We are seeking an experienced Solution Consultant to join our dynamic team. This role will bridge the gap between technical and sales teams, providing subject matter expertise and strategic guidance to help our clients unlock the full potential of our SaaS platform. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of fixed income, strong technical acumen, and a proven ability to deliver tailored solutions that address client challenges.
Responsibilities:
Client Engagement & Solution Design
- Partner with Sales Executives and Account Managers to engage prospects, understand their business needs, and map our SaaS offerings to their requirements
- Deep understanding of Personas, Use-Cases, Value Props (ROI) across the Fixed Income space
- Deliver compelling product demonstrations, POCs (Proof of Concepts), and technical deep dives tailored to fixed income use cases
- Act as a trusted advisor, addressing technical and functional queries throughout the sales cycle
Analysis & Proposal Support:
- Conduct discovery sessions to identify pain points, workflows, and opportunities for automation or optimization within fixed income firms
- Develop and present comprehensive proposals
Product Expertise & Collaboration:
- Maintain deep knowledge of our platform and its alignment with fixed income workflows, such as trading, portfolio management, risk analysis, and compliance
- Work closely with Product and Sales teams to deliver customized solutions and gather client feedback for continuous improvement
Sales Enablement:
- Support Sales with competitive insights and ROI analyses to demonstrate business value
- Train internal teams on product positioning and new features relevant to fixed income
Client Enablement:
- Support Account Management and Customer Success Managers with client training and onboarding to ensure user success and adoption
- Work with Product and Marketing to present product enhancements via webinars or live training sessions
Industry Thought Leadership:
- Stay updated on fixed income trends, including regulations, technology shifts, and client pain points
- Represent the company at industry events, webinars, and client workshops
Requirements:
Experience
- 5+ years in banking and the primary markets, solution consulting, or client-facing technical role within the SaaS or fintech space.
- Proven experience in fixed income, working with firms such as investment banks, asset managers, hedge funds, or trading platforms
- Experience in originating and underwriting new fixed income securities, including structuring and pricing them
- Proven ability to manage and develop client relationships, providing tailored financial solutions
- Proficiency in assessing and managing credit risk and market risk associated with fixed income products
Technical Skills
- Ability to translate complex technical solutions into business outcomes
- Proficiency with SaaS platforms and understanding of APIs, integrations, and cloud-based systems
- Familiarity with Fixed Income market technologies, including trading systems, risk analytics, or portfolio management tools
Business & Communication Skills
- Strong understanding of fixed income workflows, regulations, and financial metrics
- Exceptional presentation, written, and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage C-level stakeholders
- Strategic thinking and consultative approach to problem-solving
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field
- MBA is a plus
