SOLVE is a New York-based financial technology firm with offices in seven countries and a leading provider of real-time observable market data and aggregation solutions across multiple Fixed Income asset classes including all Structured Products (ABS, MBS, CLOs, etc.), Syndicated Bank Loans, Corporate Bonds (IG, HY, EM, etc.), CDS, Converts and Municipals.
We are looking for a multitasking master with exceptional time management! As the Junior Special Projects Associate, you’ll work closely with the VP Special Projects to ensure optimal execution of projects, assistance with Accounts Payable and Receivable, expense management, meeting scheduling and more! As a member of the Finance Team, you’ll be stepping into an exhilarating, fast-paced role with growth potential.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in the support of multiple departments company-wide to expedite workflow
- Communicate with management, employees and consultants regarding various projects and tasks
- Assist in coordinating logistics to ensure the senior executives’ priorities are met, and best practices are upheld
- Aid with Accounts Receivable tasks, such as invoicing, collections and client billing inquiries
- Manage expenses for C-level executives, receipt collection and filing
- Assist with Accounts Payable, communicate with vendors, file invoices to the appropriate vendor, and ensure payments are paid on a timely basis to all vendors
- Manage extensive calendar activities and coordinate meetings/calls across all departments
Requirements:
- Highly motivated self-starter with a strong work ethic
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- 2+ years of experience in an administrative or financial role
- Strong time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other productivity tools, with the ability to learn new software and systems
- Flexible team player who is adaptable and enjoys challenges
Preferred:
- Knowledge of FinTech / Market Data Landscape
- 2+ years in Fixed Income markets
- A Bachelor’s degree Finance, Economics, Marketing, English
- Knowledge in Abacus, Bill.com and Sage Intacct
