Mihai Szabo

Mihai Szabo brings to SOLVE over 30 years of experience in financial services, software development, and structured products, with deep expertise in mortgage-backed securities, trading analytics, and enterprise data systems.

Prior to joining SOLVE, Mihai was the Founder and CEO of MBS Source, a leading provider of trading data and predictive analytics for mortgage-backed and asset-backed securities. He also held leadership roles at FSIC and Jencks & Co., where he managed trading desks and oversaw regulatory compliance. Earlier in his career, Mihai founded multiple software firms and led national IT initiatives in Romania, including building the IT infrastructure for the National Forest Authority.

Mihai leads SOLVE’s AI/ML team, driving innovation in data science and machine learning to enhance transparency and efficiency in fixed income markets. He holds a Master’s Degree in Forestry with a major in Computer Science from the University of Brasov, Romania, and studied Management at the Open University Business School in Great Britain.
